Silas was born in Chiang Rai, Thailand. He moved to Perth, Australia in his teenage years where he was baptised. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in English Literature in 2018. He moved to Vancouver to pursue his education in Theology at Regent College, graduating with a master’s degree in Theology at the end of 2022.
Silas joined Trinity Baptist Church in early 2023 as a pastor of youth and young adults. He also leads the Audio Visual Team. He enjoys the presence of the younger generations, cultivating relationships and growing deeper together in the knowledge of the Lord. He is fascinated by contemporary youth culture, including its many opportunities and challenges. He is excited to see and participate in what the Lord is doing in such a time in history.
Silas cherishes spending time walking, talking, listening, and praying with his friends. He is an avid gamer, be it board games, tabletops, or video games. He also loves to read and collect books. He is currently attempting to build a small library in his study.
